Silver is a precious metal that occurs naturally in its pure form. It has the highest current and thermal conductivity and is the "whitest" of all metals thanks to its high level of light reflection. Silver-plated objects can be found almost everywhere in daily life: in household electronics and electrics, in lamps, and in decorative items.
RERO AG mainly provides silver plating in the electronics and electrical engineering sector, which need to accommodate a range from several millivolts to kilovolts. The only disadvantage is rapid tarnishing in sulphide-rich air, though, this can be prevented with passivation. However, this is only an optical defect that does not cause any significant disadvantages in technical use.
